Jean Williamson's interview in Melbourne

Jean Williamson discusses her time in the Women’s Australian Auxiliary Air Force (WAAAF) as a stewardess during World War 2. She talks about her love of dancing, how she met her husband Noel, who was also in the Air Force, and how she discovered her Aboriginality later in life.

This interview took place on 11 March 2015 in Melbourne and was conducted by Dr Allison Cadzow as part of the Australian Research Council-funded research project Serving our Country: a history of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the defence of Australia.
