The Alice Springs Yarn Up was held 16-18 September at the Institute for Aboriginal Development where we spoke with Dennis Braun about his two periods of service with the Australian Army, including deployment to Malaysia as part of rifle company Butterworth.

We were also fortunate to speak with Geoff Shaw about his service in Malaya and Vietnam and his work for recognition and services for town camps in Alice Springs and his central involvement in forming the Tangentyere Council.
