The Serving Our Country project is proud to be associated with the ‘Gallipoli 1915 : A Century On’ Centenary Conference.

“….Gallipoli remains one of the most controversial campaigns of the First World War. Aimed at defeating Turkey, it ended in failure and more than 140,000 casualties on the allied side alone. The memory of Gallipoli still holds a key place in the stories of the nations involved.

A century on, the campaign continues to generate myth and debate. Gallipoli will be the focus of a major international conference hosted by the Australian War Memorial and The Australian National University.

Join us to hear the perspectives of renowned experts from many nations who will explore the campaign and the many faces of Gallipoli and its enduring memory. “
