Francis Lovegrove
Francis Lovegrove discusses his family’s history of service including his father’s uncle’s service in France during World War 1 and his brother’s two tours of Vietnam. Francis also discusses the history of life on Raukkan mission, including the restrictions on movement and drinking placed on Aboriginal people by the Protector and how returning servicemen, from the 2 World Wars and the Korean conflict in particular, resented the rule of the Protector.
