Dorothy Murray
Dorothy Murray talks about her life growing up on Cape Barren Island, and the many family and community members who have served in the defence force across many conflicts. Dorothy discusses the reluctance of many to talk about their wartime experiences, and the racism in the commemorative practices up until recently. Dorothy also shares the story of her involvement in the quilting project ‘Through Our Eyes’ with fellow elders Gloria Templar and Nola Hooper.
