Clinton Tipo discusses his 15 years in the Navy, going into detail about his tasks, skills and experiences. He describes his initial training at HMAS Cerberus, and his posting on a number of ships throughout the fleet. In particular, he discusses his time on the Navy’s Heavy Landing Craft, and deployments to Papua New Guinea, during which time he worked with the PNGDF. Clinton was also deployed to the Persian Gulf. After leaving the Navy, Clinton joined Customs, working in their Marine Division, and now works on civilian ships.
