Allen Lockyer
Allen Lockyer talks about his family’s extensive service during World War 2 – Allen’s father Edgar, was one of five brothers who all served in World War 2 in the Royal Australian Air Force, only three of whom returned. Allen talks about his experiences living in Perth as a boy during the war, and his life since then. Allen also discusses his feelings about war in general and the memorial at Whim Creek to the five Lockyer brothers that his sister Doreen helped to develop.
