Jacqueline Shaw's interview in Cairns

Jacqueline Shaw was born in Cairns, and applied to join the Navy when she was still at school. Signing up in 1973, Jacqueline served for four years, doing her training in Melbourne and working at HMAS Harman in Canberra. Alongside her experiences in the Navy, in this interview Jacqueline also talks about her post–service work and life, and notes that her father served in Malaya with the Australian army.

This interview took place on 27 September 2012 in Cairns and was conducted by Dr Noah Riseman.
