Eric Law recounts his service in Vietnam, and his father’s service during World War 1. Family, home, and education are strong recurrent themes as Eric relates stories about his family and community, and of his homecoming from Vietnam, the support of various organisations, and his participation at events such as ANZAC Day and NAIDOC Week.

This interview took place on 4 July 2014 at Cherbourg and was conducted by Dr Allison Cadzow with Craig Greene as part of the Australian Research Council-funded research project Serving our Country: a history of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the defence of Australia.
